Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1–20, count out that many objects.
Students roll a cube onto a number mat and write the number next to one of the images, in the space provided. Then they draw the specified quantity of that image onto the picture scene. Students repeat until each image has a number next to it and all images have been drawn in the scene.
