Lesson Narrative
In this optional lesson, students review drawing connections between different representations of exponential functions. They examine exponential decay, evaluate exponential functions using negative inputs, and interpret negative time values in context.
Students must make use of the structure of the representations to accurately do calculations and interpret the results in context (MP7).
- Explain (in writing) the meaning of different constants in an expression representing an exponential function.
- Interpret equations and graphs that represent exponential functions in context.
