The purpose of this lesson is for students to practice multiplying fractions.
Lesson Narrative
In previous lessons, students learned how to multiply fractions by whole numbers and fractions.
In this lesson, students practice multiplying fractions. Students spin numbers and use them as the numerators and denominators of two fractions. Students need to think about the meaning of the numerator and denominator of the fractions in order to make strategic choices.
