The purpose of this activity is for students to learn Stage 2 of the Number Puzzles center. Students work together to use digit cards to make addition and subtraction equations true. Students add and subtract within 100 without composing. Each digit (0–9) can only be used once in a puzzle. Puzzles with less than ten spaces will have leftover cards.

The purpose of this activity is for students to choose an activity to work on that focuses on numbers up to 100. Students choose from any of the previously introduced stages of the listed centers. They are encouraged to choose the center that will be most helpful for them at this time.
