Lesson Purpose
The purpose of this lesson is for students to practice adding decimals.
Lesson Narrative
In a previous unit, students learned how to add decimals.
In this lesson, students play games where they practice adding decimals. The first game resembles the games students played in the previous two lessons. The second game has more complex rules but a simpler goal—to make the greatest number possible and then continue to add those numbers until reaching a given goal.
