Lesson Narrative
In the first activity, students revisit the Math Stories center to practice writing story problems that match addition or subtraction equations. Students build number sense, problem-solving methods, and fluency with addition and subtraction within 10. In the second activity, students choose from centers previously introduced that focus on adding and subtracting within 10.
