In the previous lesson, students created story problems based on their observations. In this lesson, students solve their story problems and represent their work for others to see. Students take a Gallery Walk to see and compare the different stories and representations. They have an opportunity to revise their posters after the Gallery Walk. Throughout the lesson, students explain how they solved story problems and represented their thinking. Then they consider ways they can revise their explanations and representations for clarity (MP3, MP6).
