Lesson Narrative
In the first activity, students learn Stage 2 of the Which One? center, which was introduced in kindergarten. In this new stage, students ask “yes or no?” questions about shapes in order to identify the shape their partner chose. In the second activity, students choose from previously introduced centers that focus on shapes or addition and subtraction.
- Determine the information needed to identify a shape. Ask (orally) questions to elicit that information.
- Let’s work with shapes and numbers.
